Giant Teddy Bear Handling Advice: Ideas & Tips

Do you know that toys and other surfaces can harbor the flu virus for up to 48 hours? The Norovirus, also known as the stomach bug, can stay on surfaces for weeks. And if a big teddy bear is handled improperly for an extended period of time, it may pick up stains and diseases that are difficult to remove.

To sterilize toys and teddy bears, you can use a variety of techniques, including the dishwasher, hot soapy water with a rinse, cold sterilization, and even creating your own natural spray. However, these techniques are excellent for keeping baby's toys clean and preventing harmful bacteria or germs from staying in your home. However, an enormous teddy bear requires thorough cleaning and stain removal because it is more prone to pick up stubborn dirt and stains.

Advice For Cleaning Big Teddy Bear At Home

  • Spot Cleaning

This is one of the most popular ways to clean delicate toys and cuddly animals. You'll need a white microfiber cloth, a teaspoon of dishwashing liquid or shampoo, and some warm to room temperature water for this. Clean the area with spots, grime, and stains carefully by dipping the cloth into the cleaning solution. Now, wipe away any remaining solution with a clean towel dampened with water. In order to remove bacteria, germs, and allergies, you can also sanitize it thereafter.

  • Machine Washing

The majority of huge teddy bear may simply go through a washing machine cycle, but there is a chance of harm as well. Review the washing directions and the tag. You should definitely avoid machine washing if your teddy bear has delicate needlework, such as eyes, buttons, speakers, glitters, or any other glued component.

There is no better approach if your teddy bear does not have any of the delicate stitching stated above, or if the tag that is connected to it also recommends machine cleaning. Just be sure to properly insert your bear inside the machine. Instead of using a detergent, it is preferable to use soft shampoos, such as any inexpensive hair shampoo, or shower gel.

  • Washing by Hand

This is the best way to wash a giant teddy bear, in my opinion. Because of their size, they typically do not fit into a washing machine. Get a warm bath, a soft nail brush, shampoo, or detergent, and these items. Keep in mind that using water that is too hot or too cold will harm your boo bear.

In the bathtub, add some shampoo or shower gel, create some bubbles, and then submerge your giant teddy bear. For at least 20 minutes, let it dangle there. If it is excessively unclean, gently scrub the affected region with a fingernail brush. In order to remove the shampoo or wash it under running water, drain the unclean water from the bathtub and refill it with some clean water. Bring it outside now to air dry.

  • Create your own cleaning agent

Cleaning your jumbo teddy bear frequently is necessary if children handle it. Children sometimes drag their toys around the house or the backyard, which could leave harsh stains on their stuffed animals. Cleaning should be done first if your child has experienced a significant infection, allergy, or virus and has used his favorite teddy for comfort.

You can make your own DIY solution if you do not like the notion of washing your plush toy in detergent. Your enormous teddy bear should be submerged in the warm water-filled bathtub. 2 tablespoons of baking soda and 2-3 cups of vinegar should be added. Now gently clean and remove the stains with your hands. Wash it off and let it air dry.

How quickly to deodorize a huge teddy bear?

Is your stuffed animal smelling bad? Maybe a quick remedy is required. Grab some cornflour or baking soda, and a large plastic sheet. Add three cups of baking soda to your teddy bear after completely wrapping it in plastic like a gift. Simply give it a good shake so that baking soda gets into every crevice of its body. Unwrap the teddy bear and set it aside once the powder has been absorbed.

Let it set for a few hours, and in the meanwhile, carefully brush out any remaining particles. Your baby bear has returned to the game, bright and revitalized. Use this technique just after washing your clothes, never before.
